Even with fears of another decline in housing prices double, for most (67%) Americans now believe a good time to buy a house according to a new Gallup poll.

Although the percentage has fallen from 72% in April 2010 and 71% April 2009, the survey suggests Americans take to the perception of a buyer's market, despite the challenges of obtaining funding and ensure Observers from the possibility of a case "double-dip".
Afterwards, the sharp decline in expectations for housing prices 2007-2008 are a good indication that Americans have the infamous housing bubble formation in their local markets seen many observers recorded on the national scene. Was this a good time to buy a house? In this respect, Americans' expectations of moderate housing prices in the local market will increase this year may indicate that housing still has a ways to go before it recovers.
The survey also shows that borrowers who plan to buy a house exercise caution in the market today. One of four Americans says they expect house prices to fall in their communities in 2011. And in a separate question, Gallup found even greater than 42% fear that their homes will lose value - another ominous sign for potential buyers, and prospects for housing in general.
Given these uncertainties, potential buyers want to avoid thinking about buying a house right now as an investment. As both the American system of housing finance and, probably, the structure of the housing market is likely to change significantly in the coming years, it can at best a "good time to buy a house" for Americans as a place to live.
The survey results are based on telephone interviews conducted 7 to 9 January 2011, with a random sample of 1018 adults aged 18 and over living in the United States, selected by random sampling numbers.
It is a good time to buy a house.
