Candlelighters is an AMAZING charity created to support families with a child with cancer.
Many children every year are diagnosed with cancer but what is overlooked many times is the stress and financial burden that the disease puts on the child's family.
Not only do these children have to go through the horrible struggles of having cancer but the financial burden of the medical cost puts on their family takes away any chance the family would have to have a day of fun together. Something as simple as going to a baseball game together or simply going to a park is not an option for many of these families.
Candlelighters not only helps with these families medical needs and basic food needs but they pay for entire families to attend sporting events or even a day at Disney World or SeaWorld.
My long time girlfriend is a childhood cancer survivor and was greatly helped but this organization. We took a trip to SeaWorld with this group a few months ago and the affects that the trip had of those families was astounding. The 5 thru 12 year olds are tougher than I'll ever be. Despite what these children have gone through there were nothing but smiles on all their faces the entire ride up. I'm sure it would be the same on the way back if they weren't all sleeping.
People in the area have helped in many different ways. Many donate money, some donate time, many donate their season tickets for sporting events that they do not use.
Another charity that I passed up all the time was the McDonalds Ronald McDonald House Charity. This is also an excellent charity that gives families a place to stay while their children are going through treatments instead of making the long trips back and forth that many families have to make. Now I through in any after I purchase my heart attack in a bag.
Make a Wish foundation is another excellent charity.

In addition, Ron was a recipient of the 2005 Sales Excellence Award for exceptional sales performance by the Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors, Inc. Ron and his wife, Charlotte, reside in Shadow Wood at the Brooks in Bonita Springs, FL.
Jeff Jordan is an attorney, licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Texas. During the course of his 18 years of legal practice, Jeff was a trial litigator, in-house counsel for a large savings and loan association, in-house counsel for an insurance company and a solo practitioner. Jeff gave up his law practice in the summer of 2004, moved his wife and three children to Florida, and joined his father, Ron, to form The Jordan Team. After a short stint with Coldwell Banker, Jeff joined Keller Williams Elite Realty in 2005. Based on Sales exceeding $30,000,000 in 2005, Jeff was also awarded Keller Williams Triple Gold Medal. He was also a recipient of the 2005 Sales Excellence Award for exceptional sales performance by the Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors, Inc. Jeff, his wife, Anna, and their three children reside in Verandah in Fort Myers, FL.
Justin Jordan was made a partner in the company in February of 2006, after spending the last 2 years as an assistant to Ron and Jeff. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Marketing in 2005. Justin has taken the knowledge he gained as Ron and Jeff's assistant, combined it with his computer and marketing skills, and hit the ground running in establishing his own client base.
