Farmers Market in Suwanee Ga will open at the Suwanee Town Center May 1 2012. Again this year the Farmers Market in Suwanee Ga will be open twice a week Tuesdays 4-7 pm May 1st to Aug 7,and Saturdays 8am to noon thru Oct 6th. The only exception is Sept 15.
Applications for venue space at the Farmers Market in Suwanee Ga. are now available. The Farmers Market is limited to farmers and gardeners who actually grow the food they sell and makers of salsa, sauces, jelly, bread, baked goods and other natural products. Arts and craft items are not accepted. This year, the City will require the homemade items be cooked in a commercial kitchen (i.e. shared kitchen) that is inspected by the Health Department.
About 25 booth spaces are available at each Farmers Market in Suwanee Ga. The cost for the booth space depends on how frequently a vendor attends the market.
Applications must be turned in at the annual meeting at 7 pm Monday March 26 at City Hall. Applications are not be mailed or dropped off. For more information, contact Events Manager Amy Doherty or 770-945-8996.
