Carolyn Fuller, who is a resident of League City, will be signing copies of her Poetry Book; "The Secret Place and Other Poems:Songs of Praise and Restoration".

Mrs. Fuller poems are full of thankfulness to God. Where can we go from the love of God? There is no such shadowy corner.

In this book, we are reminded that through God, we will find restoration through prayer, supplication and love from Him and His people.

The Pearland Library always has such fun things to do for adults and children. Giving your child a love for reading is a very special gift!

The Pearland Library will host "Baby Bounce" on January 23rd at 10:30am. There will be songs and rhymes for your babies up to 18 months.

Every Thursday at 10:30am, the Library hosts Storytime for Preschool children. And, every Tuesday at 10:30am the Library hosts Storytime for Toddlers.

I have a cat named Loki and she is a fluffy girl....if you get my drift. Loki is 14 years old and she gets to be the boss of everyone and everything in our household.

I recently bought a new mattress pad that was supposed to be super comfortable but I didn't like it. So, I took it off of my bed and folded it up and put it on top of the guest bed until I decided what to do with it.

Loki decided that this was much better than sleeping on a plain mattress! When I saw her on top of the pad it reminded me of the fairy tale of "The Princess and the Pea".

Teens, stop by the Pearland Library on Saturday, January 14th for a Beach Party! Yes, I know it is cold outside, but it won't be inside the Library!

Also for teens, you will want to bring your friends and your favorite games for Teen Night on Wednesday, January 25th at 7:00pm. Snacks will be provided.
