Brigantine Island is one of the most unique areas along the Jersey Coast. Not just for the beach lover, Brigantine boasts a wildlife preserve that is home to all manor of wildfowl including the Piping Plover. In our dune areas it is not unusual to see lots of small foxes who have made their home here. The preserve area includes an additional few miles of uninhabited dunes and beaches on the north end of the island.
If you are more interested in sea mammals, then you can visit our very own Marine Mammal Stranding Center. The operators of this center have gone all over the globe to aid in rescuing these exciting sea creatures who have found themselves in trouble.
