We are Becky and John Kolb - active full time realtors who live and work in Sun Lakes - an active adult Robson community. Our real estate business is not limited to Sun Lakes but we love it here and we are finding that many others do too. We have met so many wonderful people through our website and through open houses we do in Sun Lakes.

We work with both buyers and sellers and pride ourselves on providing professional and caring service along with attention to detail to make the home selling or buying experience smooth for you. Our business philosopy has always been that we want to build a relationship with our clients - we are not interested in just "making the sale". Our clients tell us that they sense that we truly care about them and go the extra mile to provide the service they are seeking. We will tell you the truth - not just "what you want to hear" because in the end all solid relationships are built on trust, integrity and honesty - and those are attributes you can count on with the Kolb's.

We are truly partners - in friendship, marriage and in business. Becky, a Texas native and John, an Iowa native met while living in Durango, Colorado. Both of us owned our own businesses and were actively involved in the community with John serving as President of the Durango Area Chamber Resort and Becky serving as President of the Durango Area Chamber Resort Ambassador's. We believe in giving back to our community and always seek to volunteer our services where ever we are. Becky's career has been centered in sales and marketing and John previously managed Shopping Centers which led to moves to Franklin, TN, Prescott, AZ and Modesto CA. The two had long wanted to pair their sales and marketing and management backgrounds and moved to Colorado Springs, CO where they partnered in a Jan-Pro franchised business. Jan-Pro was ranked the #1 fastest growing franchise and the two developed and grew their market to just over $4,000,000 in annual gross revenue in five years! They were recipients of Jan Pro International's two top awards, Master Franchise Owner of the Year and Office of the Year. Becky and John also achieved Jan-Pro's Gold Circle status, reserved exclusively for the top performing offices. After selling their highly successful business in 2007 they were retained by Jan Pro International on a consulting basis to assist other markets throughout the country.

Having a love for Arizona and a love for helping others achieve their goals and dreams they began the process of selling their Colorado home. Becky and John love the outdoors and enjoy golfing, hiking, swimming and making new friends. They eventually purchased their new home in the Oakwood area of Sun Lakes in an active adult golfing community and soon after began their real estate career. Both are also avid readers and enjoy traveling, cooking and drinking good wine. They are also actively involved at Hope Covenant Church. Together they have 4 sons living in WA, CO and NY and 11 beautiful grandchildren. Becky and John are a dynamic team known for their leadership, integrity and a heart for helping others and welcome the opportunity to get to know you and become your real estate professional.

John and I specialize in providing professional and caring service to those buying and selling homes in Chandler, Sun Lakes, Gilbert, Mesa, Ocotillo, Queen Creek, and Tempe. Like many, we have had great experiences buying and selling homes and then we have had some disasters. We treat our Client's the way they want to be treated - with respect, honesty and a high level of communication throughout the process.

Arizona is known for golfing and active adult communities. Although many are retired, there is a growing number of people moving into active adult communities that are still working and enjoying the country club atmosphere and world class amenities that these communities provide. It's far from a "geriatric club". We live in a Robson community known as Sun Lakes and specialize in helping people find their dream home - whether it is an active adult and/or golfing community or a home in a conventional neighborhood. I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this letter of referenced for Becky Kolb. I worked with Becky during the time she and John owned a franchise business in the East Valley. In March 2010, the business was sold. Prior to the sale I served as Becky's office manager and bookkeeper. Becky is one of the most capable businesswomen I know. During my tenure I saw her carefully build an extremely competent team of professionals who were able to perform at consistently high levels. While Becky was friendly and caring toward those who worked for her, she modeled and demanded a quality and professional work ethic. I have had a variety of successful work experiences over my career, working with individuals of great integrity and ingenuity and also with some who made me wonder how they ever got where they were. I've learned both good and poor management techniques, and how they impact both an employee and a business. One of my best experiences has been to work with Becky Kolb. Becky was a terrific role model to our entire staff. As the company manager, she set both immediate and long-term goals for the company, for the various departments and for the staff. She then empowered each of us to achieve those goals. She critiqued our work, made suggestions for improvement or for alternative ways to proceed, and then trusted us to follow through. That trust meant so much, for it indicated she respected us. And Becky certainly earned our respect and our loyalty.

A second rate performance was not acceptable from anyone, but Becky also gave everyone another chance when she believed the individual was truly trying to reach that goal. I found her energy to be contagious. The staff found it easy to emulate her positive attitude. She walked a narrow line as she coached each one to do their best, being careful not to take away ownership even when she had to enforce the corporate policies; she offered both individual and group training to all of the franchise owners - the ones who were smart enough to listen and act upon Becky's recommendations found themselves successful. I know I will miss her morale-building skill, her good sense of humor and her Christian ethic.
