How many of you subscribe to the New question alert that Trulia offers? I started subscribing as soon as they started doing Trulia Voices. If you don't know what that is, its a forum board where buyers and sellers alike can ask questions and Real Estate Agents can answer. Now you will wind up with more than one answer, but usually along the same terms.
Like I said I subscribe to the alerts for Broward County. I have to say I have answered quite a few questions. There was one question that I answered a while back I would say November, to someone who was looking to buy in Plantation, Fl. His question was in Spanish, but living in South Florida I would have thought he would have gotten a few answers. While come to find out I was the only one who responded. Good for me, but sad to hear that no one cared to respond. I would have thought that knowing that buyers are scares right now he would have gotten lots of answers.
That buyer registered with me. That will be another post. So tell me are you missing out on buyers out there. Are you sitting back and waiting til they come to you, or are you going to go look for them. In this age I think there is more to do then sit back and wait. If that is your plan then Thank You more for me!

How do you feel about Carnivals? Well the famous All Saint's Carivnal is in town. They are located in Sunrise, Fl on the corner of Oakland Park and Hiatus. They hold this carinval every year the weekend of Valentine's. I took my kids the weekend before to the carnival in Margate. They were so excited. I plan on taking them tonight to this one.
You can't go to the carnival without playing the games. I had the kids play some and boy they were thrilled. They each one a prize. Every game that the kids play now always wins a prize. They felt they were special to each win one.
Here is a picture of my kids with their prizes they won. Look how happy they are.
Now you can't go to a Carnival and not have there food. The famous Funnel Cake or also know as Elephant Ears. My kids took one look at it and wondered what it was, once they took a bit they were hooked. What can I say its a tradition.

Yes, someone found me. I received a call today from a gentlemen who is looking to relocate from Cleveland, OH. He put in a search, How can I buy real estate in South Florida" in the Truilia.com, and he found me. He called me just a few minutes ago and I answered my phone as if it was morning during the week. He was so happy that I answered.
I asked if he had ever been to Florida and he said no he has never been here. I went on to explain the different counties and different cities. Just to give him some information. I explain its hard to narrow down a certain county for him without knowing what he likes. I told him the best way is for him to come down for a vacation and spend some time driving around to familar himself with the area to see where he think he will enjoy living. He said that he spoke with someone else and didn't even suggest this to him. Never did he think that I would suggest that if it might mean that I would not get a sale. I told him its not only about the sale, I want him to be happy with a purchase of his home. He was thrilled and will be contacting me as soon as he makes his arrangements to visit South Florida. We exchanged emails and I told him I would send him pictures of certain areas and information on certain neighborhoods.
This may not be a sale for tomorrow or next month, but it may happen in the future. I'm just thrilled I was found. I owe it to Katerina Gasset for teaching how to use longtail keywords. It doesn't happen overnight and I never expected to, so I am very happy that I am taking the time to use the internet to my fulliest. You should too you may not know who will be looking for you!!
