Everyone has something they want to do as opposed to what they are doing, that was me 5 years ago. I owned a small but profitable currency exchange shop in Kitchener/Waterloo. I built it from the ground up, it was a nice living and I was good at it, but it wasn't for me.

Then everything changed, I bought my first home in September 2000. Time passed I dreaded waking up everyday for another dull boring day at the office. Finally I confessed to my wife that I wasn't happy in my job, and it felt like I was trapped going no where. Being the smart and vibrant woman that she is she told me she knew that, and could see me falling apart. She asked me at that point what I wanted to do, I had no idea, she then looked over to my desk at the stack of Real Estate publications piling up on my otherwise semi-clean desktop. Then she asked "Ever thought about going into Real Estate?" She told me at that point my face lit up with excitement and it was a look on my face she hadn't seen for years.

The rest they say is history, I sold my business and haven't looked back, I am much happier now as a Real Estate Representative with Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty, working in and around the Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario area.
