The Hixson and Soddy Daisy market of homes for sale is quite different from last week. While the number of home available is up a little, the number of homes for sale which went under contract ticked up significantly. The selection is getting somewhat smaller.

The market in general seems to be loosening this week. There are a handful of additional homes for sale and fewer under contract this week.

The foreclosure market, on the other hand, is smaller. But there are less under contact this week.

Dunkin Donuts Opens in Hixson, TN

Well, look who's back.

After pulling up stakes in Hixson some years back, Dunkin Donuts returns. To much fancier digs, no less.

It has been awhile. The last time I remember visiting their Hixson outpost had to be in the mid-nineties.

Donut Connection occupied the spot for a time. After that, the building stayed a vacant for awhile. Then can the remodel. Now a shiny new Dunkin' Donuts occupies the space.

The moral of the story?

It's hard to leave Hixson. And even harder to stay gone.

When it comes to photos, it may be better to skip bathroom. Due to its layout the bathroom often photographs poorly. Skip the bathroom if you have to. Instead, replace it with a feature which photographs better.
