The only way on and off Long Beach Island, the Causeway Bridge, was closed today for over 5 hours because of a truck overturning and high winds. This is the first time in the 42 years I have been coming to the Island that the bridge was closed because of wind. If anyone knows otherwise please let me know.
Because of the traffic gridlock, I wonder what the solution would be if there was an emergency.
