The Freeport ME residential real estate markets saw 9 transactions take place in June 2009 compared with 14 a year prior. Median pricing clocked in at 313K compared with 257K in June 2008. The residential markets continue to see moderatly healthy activity given the overall economic conditions. Inventory rose from 100 to 111 in the past month.

The South Portland real estate market saw 33 homes sell at a median price of 190K in June 2009 after sitting on the market for 32 days. This compares with 31 homes selling at a median price of 224K a year prior. Current inventory rest at 161 homes for sale in South Portland up from 133 a month prior. THe month over month pricing was flat whilst dropping 15% from last year. This follows the overall Southern ME real estate trend.

For the month ending June 2009 the Brunswick ME real estate markets saw 13 transactions transpire at a median price point of 248 compared with 23 at a median price of 270K in 2008. A 43% and 8% drop in transactions and pricing. The month over month statistics continue to point towards improved conditions in the Maine coastal real estate community.

The Bath ME residential real estate market saw 8 transactions take place in June 2009. In June 2008, 8 transactons also occured. Median priced dipped a bit however, about 12% from 149K to 131K. This mid coastal maine housing market continue to see healthy activity given the overall economic conditions and overall the Bath market had a solid spring.
