Eliminating Inefficiencies in your Real Estate Business - As a Buyers Agent for the first three years in the business I was timid and would not have the buyers get qualified or even ask if they were. I would show 10 to 20 homes and at times write many contracts but to no avail as they could not buy anything for many different reasons.
But then I don't want to say I became more professional, but I joined a team and the leader sent me to train with his other buyers agents and I learned how much it was an injustice to the seller as well as my buyer to not be approved for a loan before looking at homes. If the buyer is looking at 200k homes but only qualifies for 100k how disappointed we he or she be when they find out and who will they blame. Some would be so embarrassed as to find another agent.
So our team policy is to show them the home they called on or the first one without any obligation or pressure, find out if we can work together and then take control and put them into their dream home.
