I know that this is NOT terrific news, but it is the news of the economic market as of November 2011. I thought it was interesting to compare 2005/2006 to 2010/2011 to see what differences there were in our home sale statistics.

I know that Saturday was a local business promation day. I have a few local business women I would like to mention/promote and thought I would start with Karen Parody from Harrisburg, PA
Karen's father was terminally ill with cancer. Like many people we know, cancer treatments do a number on a person's body and her Dad was no different. He had a difficult time tolerating most foods, let alone tasting any of them. Someone suggested to try anything with white chocolate. First they started with pretzels in white chocolate, then added mixed cereals, nuts, you name it. Her Dad loved it and the family loved that he was eating something. Even better, it was something that they could all eat together!
Thus, a tradition began so to speak. She continued making Karen's Krunch even after her father passed away. She started giving it to her friends as a gift and soon they were requesting it to share with other friends and family members. It quickly became a party favorite.
Her friends and family encouraged her to make her dream a reality.
