So I flew a plane today. Thats right, a real plane. The aero club has an introductory flight and I am looking into getting my private pilots license. If I get it, I may become a pilot for the reserves and it will add just a bit of stability to my life.

On the introductory flight I was able to take my wife and we had a blast. This definitely comes highly recommended from me.

So just another quick thought? How many of us are wondering when the market will turn? I am, but are you ready? Charleston has lost nearly 70% of its Realtors this year and those of us that are still around when the market turns are supposedly going to be in a great position to capitalize.

What do you think we should be doing in preparation for this novel event? When do you think it will come? I hate to be the Debbie Downer but I dont see it happening within the next year let alone two years. What is everyone doing to sustain until we are a great power in the real estate profession. As much as I hate to say it, I am a reservist in the AF, and a lot of my income is coming from them. What are you doing? If you are making it, have you lost most of your standard of living? If not, what can I do to be like you?

So, another thought just crossed my mind. It will also be an opportunity to learn something.

A few of the more developed investors of my REIA group spent $3k on a seminar that taught web presence. One guy showed me a page and it had power words on it like earnings, money, now. He also told me to never use words like "scratch the surface" as they have negative connotations and are counterproductive in the sale.

I cant afford a $3k seminar and have read about google Adwords and all of that, but is there anyone out there that can explain what they may have learned for $3k. That had to be one powerful weekend, right?

What was going on?

Well, today was one of those dont feel like we accomplished anything good for nothing cant get over the feeling of being down we are one week from Christmas but dont know if we should spend money though you only live once kind of days.

Chased out some trailer parks and talked to some people. Really nothing happened. All I really did was wonder how much longer we can go on the limited amount of sales we are doing. While I probably could get a little behind and by the time I got behind Id catch up, I hate the uncertainty.

I guess this is a good blog for all of us real estate professionals, so what are you doing about it?

WOOOOHHOOOOO!!!!

I now have the blackberry storm. I use to be very disorganized to say losing things constantly and constantly getting sidetracked. I am now proud to say that I am slightly less of all of those things due to the blackberry storm. It is pretty awesome. I used to carry a camera, palm and my phone and they are now all in one in addition to a music player and the power point to go allows me to give presentations on my phone. Come on wouldnt you buy something from someone who could do that?
