Jean-Paul, known to his friends as J-P, relocated to the Outer Banks from Newark, Delaware where he was a full time Realtor with Weichert Realtors. After buying his own piece of the OBX in 2004 he moved to Carova, and joined Re/Max Ocean Realty in Kitty Hawk, NC. In 2009 he chose to work for Sun Realty in their Corolla office so he would be closer to the 4-Wheel Drive beaches that he services. In 2011 J-P became part of the Outer Banks Real Estate Company, a team of Realtors focused on the uniqueness of each community along the Outer Banks.

When asked why he chose to live on the 4x4 Beaches of the OBX, J-P's reply was, "I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and friendly people of the northern Outer Banks. Here, as a REALTOR I can specialize in this very unique area that is different from anywhere else in the United States. The northernmost beaches including Corolla and Carova have maintained the old Outer Banks environment and feeling more than the rest of our barrier islands."

When he is not working, Jean-Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, volunteering with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, N.E.S.T., and the Carova Volunteer Fire Dept.
