MY STORY: From day one of my Real Estate career I wanted to learn to invest in real estate. The idea of finding the ugly home in the neighborhood, fixing it up, and selling got me going. I started with a small team that wanted to grow together and take advantage of each others strengths to be successful. I went to extensive training to get my real estate license, studied and passed the exam. What was next, my team dissolved and the market dropped. I was ready to take advantage of my knowledge and my "cheese moved". So signed up with a great local real estate firm to continue my career and found that there were not many agents that understood Real Estate investing. So I learned to work with sellers and buyers, I still enjoyed what I did but I don't think I'd reached my goal of being an investors. The office I was wasn't much help, there wasn't any investor agents and much negative feedback about investing in the market, so I moved offices. I was showing homes to many first time buyers that investors had come in fixed the place and sold quickly. So I know it was still a great time to invest.

I'd recently been invited to a Real Estate Investing Semniar hosted by Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad group. I'd read many of his books and had never been to his seminars. I recomend everyone read Rich Dad Poor Dad if you haven't already. This is one of the books that started me investing more in me. The proper techniques of investing introduced that three day weekend has given a new insight. In many ways how I can create my new investing team, but also help others invest, or new buyers buy a great home.

It's looking to create that Everybody Wins Environment. I've come across many buyers wanting to purchase their first home but don't want to put in the time and effort in fixing the home. There are also many of deals and investors, so if you everyone comes together we can truly build an Everybody Wins Environment. but where do you start? I suggestion join networking group in your area. Find a team that is working on the same goals your want to achieve. Right now I focus on Single Family Residences and Town Homes in North Orange County areas, of Brea, Fullerton, Placentia, and Yorba Linda.

Being the Buyer's Market that it is, one of the top questions I'm asked by families moving in to the area is "How are the schools?" The other comment given by families moving in to bigger homes are "I'd like to keep my kids in the Brea Olinda School District." So I know this is very important in many peoples minds. Education is important to me and my family. My wife and I have a daughter that is 7 months old, so what school she'll be going has been mentioned. Plus my my wife is a six grade school teacher in La Habra, Ca at Washington Middle School, so it's of big concern.

It's still all about Location, Location, Location and now a days people can be picky. With the increase of housing affordabilty and homes on the market, people are finding homes at a good prices, good neighborhoods, and perfect for children. Brea homes fits right into all three those categories. If schools area important to you, Brea should be on your places to live list.
