As property owners of rental property in Santa Rosa, we considered the possibility of a Starker Delayed Exchange. We approached Jeff & Teresa about the plan and to explain the process. They were considerate in coming to our Healdsburg home to provide us with some education on that matter. We were impressed at their knowledge and their professional approach to us as propspective clients. They presented the benefits of such an exchange and negatives that should be considered by owners who hold pre Proposition 13 property and the property tax consequences of an exchange.
After a most satisfactory meeting, Jeff offered to provide a comparison study of comparable properties for sale in Santa Rosa, Jeff visited our rental property and evaluated its condition, size of habitations,etc. When next he saw us he had prepared a complete comparative analysis in a very impressive publication. Included in a separate document were examples of potential properties to trade into at that moment. Cost calculations of any sale were presented clearly with nothing omitted. The materials we were presented with were of highest quality with clear visuals and text explanations. A lot of work had gone into the collection of the material organized into bound booklets for ease of handling and reading.
At this point Jeff and Teresa backed off to permit us to absorb the material and consider everything.
