This morning on CNN I had the opportunity to watch an interview with Warren Buffet. In his opinion, we are working toward ending the recession, and the residential housing market has flattened out.

Good news from a trusted source on the state of affairs one year after a major collapse in our economic structure!

Although we most certainly have a very long road ahead of us, news like this and the presidents' stance on no nonsense with Wall Street after the taxpayers bailed them out, are hopeful and refreshing...

We have been dealing with theft and vandalism on REO listings from day one. Today, a front page story on the problem was addressed by our local media leader the Arizona Republic.

Could it be that we are finally going to see a crack down on those guys who pull up and load the new a/c units into the back of their trucks? What about all those sub z's for sale on Craig's list? Or the washer dryer appliance packages delivered free if you buy the set?

It would be nice for first time buyers to actually get qualified for a loan because the house they want to buy is still in tact!...So Bravo for the the recognition, and let's make sure everyone knows it's NOT okay to strip that bank owned house!...

Good news !

The labor Department reported the nation's unemployment rate fell for the first time since April 2008. This and other government reports are indicators that a long, deep recession may be drawing to an end.

Many economists had been expecting a far greater jobless rate for July when the economic growth numbers were released last month!

Although this news does not make things good, it should be viewed as a healthy sign that we are headed in the right direction toward recovery!
