Pink Sky This Morning in Charlotte, NC
This morning the sky was so pink that I had to run and grab my camera. It was absolutely beautiful.
It made me wonder if the saying is true???
" Pink sky at night.... Sailors delight."
"Pink sky in the morning... Sailors take warning."
Author Unknown
As the day progressed it got darker and colder and is now raining and quite cool. I guess the sky was right,
I am taking the warning!!

Mint Museum Uptown has placed its first work of art in the Plaza in the front of the museum. Since the museum opened there has never been any art in the Plaza. It will be fun to sit out and enjoy the art/sculpture when the weather gets a little warmer.
This first work of art is by Jun Kaneko and it is a very large sculpture as you can see by the picture. This will be the spotlight exhibition thru April 29, 2012.
If you have not visited the Mint Museum Uptown it is time. Plan a day to visit the museum as well as walk and have lunch at one of the very fine restaurants within the area. You will definitely enjoy.

Late last year it was announced that Chiquita Banana was moving its headquarters to Charlotte, NC. This move will provide the following to the "Queen City".
On Monday during our Mastermind group everyone related that they had great showings on their listings over the week-end. It was discussed and discovered that the first wave of employees relocating to Charlotte were here over the week-end.
The next wave is to come through Charlotte this coming week-end.
I contacted all of the sellers for my listings to inform them that their house may be one chosen to be previewed by these Chiquita employees. I encouraged them to have it in tip top shape for showings. Their homes should be in that shape for all showings.

As many of you know I had a real heart break on December 26, 2011. My Boxer named BABE died that day. It was such a shock as well as a major loss.
The past two weeks have been sad for my family and my other pets. Everyone is fine but everyone is experiencing the loss.
I gave a donation in honor of BABE to Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue for that is where I first met and fostered my sweet Boxer and have enjoyed having him in our lives for over 8 years. BABE can never be replaced, but in his memory others can be saved!
Well, tonight I agreed to foster a sweet dog in desperate need. He was just pulled from a high kill shelter and is heart worm positive. He was dropped off today to begin his heart worm treatment and will be delivered to me on Saturday. The biggest challenge will be keeping him quiet for 6 to 8 weeks with my wild and rowdy gang. It will be well worth it for he will be well and ready for his furever home in a few months.
Meet my new foster Boxer... Angus! Welcome Angus to a new opportunity at a wonderful life.

I will follow up with more pictures and stories once I get the opportunity to meet Angus and get him settled into our family.
If you are considering a new pet for your family... please consider a rescue group or shelter to find your new pet. There are so many in need of a second chance.
