Gorgeous sunshine. Hot Weather. Pacific Northwest is experiencing, what weather experts are stating, the hottest weather of the year. With temperatures climbing to over 100 degrees in some areas. Couldn't be a better time to be at the lakes, oceans and mountains and truly enjoy the summers here. What a beautiful area we live in. The diversity of the mountains to the oceans. No where else in the U.S. do you get this experience. Love it.

Well, it looks like this weekend is going to be perfect weather for the Birch Bay Days. They host a parade with concession stands, etc. at the end. The sun will be shining, as it does most of the time in Birch Bay. Hope you get to enjoy it July 18th and 19th.
So I have a home back on the market due to the final underwriter saying no to the buyer. The buyer was approved all the way thru to the end. The under at Chase Bank, said No because the buyer showed he was working 40 hours a week last year. This year he is working 30-32 hours a week and making $2,000.00 more a month. Chase thought it was too risky to give him the loan. Also, they wouldn't consider the lease agreement that he has for the house he is presently living in, because it wasn't on his 2008 income. Okay, so he is now buying a new home and moving from the present home which will become a rental this year. Makes sense, huh? Anyway, from now on if anyone brings me a buyer that has been approved by Chase Bank, guess what, they are going to have to go to a local bank before we go pending.
What a beautiful area we live in. No wonder Washington is called the evergreen state. For the outdoors person, there isn't an avenue overlooked to enjoy. From Mt. Baker skiing, river rafting, lakes, sound, it is just a wonderful area to have a lot of summer fun.
So, today is a buyer's market, then why are Seller's deciding not to sell or not completing their work as agreed to on the contract?
Have had a few sales not go thru as the seller's are deciding to stay in their homes. Either they are so attached to the house or they are refinancing at a better rate. yet they have put their homes on the market, get an offer and decide not to sell. Also, not completing work as promised. Court action could be in play if their not careful.
And this is a Buyer's market. Funny, huh!
