Today's news from the Norhtwest MLS states that the home inventory is decreasing. According to their statistics, pending sales have jumped up 21.5 percent from last year.
How good is this to the Buyer? Well, it means that we are hitting bottom prices now and that if they are looking to purchase they should do so now. The $8,000 incentive will only last until November 3, 2009. Low interest rates won't be around forever. And prices are now stabilizing.
Great time to purchase. Seller's are being realistic about their home prices, staging and fixing them to a standard for buyer's to just move in.

Real estate in Bellingham Washington has always been fun. The diversity of homes and their locations is one of the main reasons.
As a resident you can choose from waterfront beaches, mountain, rivers, lakes to live near. And even if you don't live on top of any of these, you don't have to go far to enjoy any of these amenities.
AS a Realtor, taking people around and showing them the area has to be one of the most fun things to do. Having been a Realtor in southern California, Bellingham offers a relaxing way of doing business.
Yes, we do not get as much sunshine, but the amenities are so huge you don't mind.

We had a beautiful weekend. The sun was shining and the first start of the Ski-to-Sea was on. For those who don't know about the Ski-to-Sea in Bellingham, it is a relay race that consists of different groups competing to finish first in the Fairhaven area. Always on the Sunday during the Memorial Day weekend. They start by sking from Mt. Baker, running, bicycling, kayaking, to the finish line. Great fun. There is a grand parade the Saturday before. A carnaval comes to town. So, lots to do for everyone. They have the Junior Ski to Sea for children the weekend before. Great opportunity for those who would like to visit Bellingham, Washington.

With the past bank fall out, finding a 0% down program has been almost impossbile. But there is still a bank in Bellingham that will lend on condos with no money down. Of course, there are some restrictions. But pretty easy to swallow. The area in Bellingham has to be considered moderate to middle, the buyer has to have a credit score of 620 or better, but the really great news is that the buyer isn't charged for Private Mortgage Insurance. Fabulous opportunity for those who still have good credit and want to move into an affordable home. Especially if the seller is willing to pay the buyers closing costs. This creates a total 0% down program for the buyer. The Maple Glen Condominiums fall into this category. Go to www.mapleglencondos.com to view the floor plans, specifications etc.
