Have you ever heard about the Cardboard Furniture - alternative Staging Solutions? I've discovered it not a long time ago and wanted to share this information with you.

An idea about the Cardboard Furniture has transported me back to childhood where a simple, big cardboard box held a myriad of possibilities. See for yourself what a cardboard design has come as you take a in cardboard offices, furniture, kid's furniture and more...

Cardboard Furniture is made of the cardboard boxes, cheap and easily assembled to produce. With this furniture you don't need a moving truck or even don't need an extra person to help you out. It fits in a car and can be carried in by one person.

It can be painted or covered with fabric, upholstery grade slipcovers.

Fake Furniture provides a unique sales tool to fill the empty space of vacant homes.

My real estate experience shows that staged homes sell faster and for the higher price than the empty houses. But here is the question: "What if the seller doesn't have a lot of cash to have the home staged?" Cardboard / "Fake" Furniture can be a good low-cost solution to stage vacant homes for sale, model homes, showrooms. I've shown a lot of empty vacant homes to my buyer clients in the last several years and I noticed that some of them cannot or have difficulty to visualize how the house will look like with real furniture. I think we have a solution now. I don't think that furnishing a million plus home with a cardboard furniture is a good idea but it can be definitely an alternative solution to $100,000 - $300,000 homes.

Hawkins Cove - Neighborhood Demographics Roswell, Georgia

Hawkins Cove is a beautiful neighborhood of 51 homes located in the heart of Roswell, Georgia. You can find all the grocery and retail stores, banks, gyms, movie theaters and the restaurants within 1-3 miles from the neighborhood. It will take you about 10 minutes to get to North Point Mall and about 40-45 minutes to Atlanta International Airport from Hawkins Cove subdivision.

It is April 29th, 2010 and there are no homes currently listed for sale in this subdivision. There were two homes sold in 2009 for $300,000. It took about 96 days on average to sell these homes. All the homes are currently owner occupied and there are no homes rented which is a good indicator in this market for this neighborhood.

4th Annual Run for Life - The Avenue Forsyth Cumming Georgia, May 1st 2010

The 4th Annual Run for Life 5 K - A Race to End Lou Gehrig's Disease.

DATE: Saturday, May 01, 2010

Race Day Registration opens @ 7:00 AM and the 5K begins @ 8:00 AM. A 1 Mile Fun Run will follow @ 9:00 AM.

ADDRESS: The Avenue Forsyth, 410 Peachtree PKWY, Cumming , GA

FEES: 5K - $20, Race Day - $25, Kid's Fun Run - $5.

The Run for Life 5K has raised $30,000 in the past 3 years and had become a favourite among North Atlanta runners. The event was founded to honor Jon Blais, the only person with ALS to finish an Ironman triathlon. All proceeds benefit ALS research at the Emory ALS Center in Atlanta, GA.

ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) can strike anyone. Without warning it happens to 15 people every day in US. The everage life expectancy is only 2 or 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS slowly takes away the ablity to move, speak, swallow, and ultimately breathe. There is no cure so there are no survivors to tell their stories.

Participants will receive a t-shirt, post race refreshments, and enjoy great music as the "Celebrate Life and Imagine a Cure". Awards will be presented to Overall and Masters Overall winners, as well as to the top three finishers in age groups.
