Roomspinners Retreat!

(Depoe Bay, Oregon)

Barbi and I took our families out to the Oregon Coast this last week for the Tahoma and Kent School District's Spring Break. It was a fabulous time! We had two condominiums on Depoe Bay and although rainy for the first part of the week, there was plenty of sunshine "breaks" with a lot more sun for the weekend. We didn't want to leave!

florence oregon junk shop

Besides sightseeing... we did some coastal shopping at some great antique and junk stores... of course! I found a lovely piece of driftwood -- already varhished and mounted so I don't have to do it! Barbi and her boys collected a bunch of driftwood on the beach... get in on the fun... driftwood looks really earthy and nice in a beautiful arrangement or as a single "sculpture." I even saw it in a beautiful room display in the "House Beautiful" magazine I'm reading!

We will defenitely head back out to the coast very soon... it was so rejuventating! Below is a picture of a cove just next to our condos. We even were visited by some Harbor Seals! Sunsets were amazing!
Thanks for visiting my blog! ... even when we are "at play."

A Mossed Hanging Basket. The fee is $30 per basket. This craft does require prepayment and registration and space is limited... so hurry and contact them if you are interested!

Sherwin-Williams

Roomspinners Redesign and Staging would like to thank the Covington, Washington Sherwin-Williams paint store for donating paint to assist us in our volunteer work for the American Cancer Society. The donation of paint helped bring some joy and comfort to our client's life during this very difficult time while they undergo treatment for cancer. The beautiful color and paint donation for us to use in our Interior Redesign was greatly appreciated by both Roomspinners and our client, and we are sincerely grateful.

We have been impressed time and time again by the friendliness and expertise shown to us and our clients by manager Todd Hull and the rest of the Sherwin-Williams team. We love the SW color too!
