My father was afflicted with Parkinson's disease and I had taken him to so many local doctors, and one after another prescribed so many drugs that seemed to make him worse rather than better. In my search to try to make sure that my father's symptoms were as minimal as possible, and his quality of life as good as could be, I found Dr. Charles Bernick, who was a welcome breath of fresh air, and a kind, caring, and analytical doctor - a good listener - a competent thought processor. We "detoxed" my father from the myriad of drugs, and put him on vitamin and herb therapy along with a small dose of his Parkinson's meds. I was impressed with the level of care and course of treatment Dr. Bernick prescribed, compared to the rest of his peers who would write a script - change a dose and in a flash we were out the door.
