Contesting Your Property Value and Real Estate Taxes

If you feel the appraised value of your home is in excess of current market values, you have the right to challenge the value with your county treasurer. For Cuyahoga county, this MUST be done by March 31st. The procedures for other counties may vary, check with your country treasurer or auditors office.
