I was thinking today what is more important. How many blogs (points) I have or is it more important how many people want to know more about me?
I am in what may be described as a dry business. What I mean by that is I deal with facts. Not concerned with paint colors, staging, or the price of the home. Just, is something OK in its function or is it defective.
While my point score is only 25348 my profile views are 3570.
I get a lot of business from people viewing my credentials.
I would like to here what others think about this and how many profile views have you had.
We are having extremely heavy winds today in Ohio.
NOT now, but tomorrow look at your roof for damage.
If you are a Realtor go to your vacant listings tomorrow and inspect for damage to the property and contact your clients as soon as possible.
If you are a Home Inspector and did an inspection recently may I suggest that you drive by and take pictures of the roofs that you have inspected.
The winds that we have had today is the reason that I do not do roof certifications.
If you need CE's for either ASHI or NAHI please attended one of these sessions:
For ASHI members this September: contact Tom Horning detectivehomes@sbcglobal.net
For NAHI member this Novermber: contact Forrest Lines fglines@aol.com

It has been a year since I posted this but I felt that it needed to be posted again.
When your power goes out and you get up late you want to blame someone.
Well here is one of the guys who keeps your house full of electricity.
Next time you think it is hard to go to work watch this:
http://www.mikeholt.com/HighPowerJobVideo.php
Would you do this?
I found another HI, Home Inspector, Club.
Why do I call them Clubs?
Because they are just a way for someone to advertise that they are 'Certified' to do home inspections.
My recent find is : http://www.nshi.us/ Read how easy it is to belong: http://www.nshi.us/requirements.html
I belong to no organization because I do 'code' inspection. BUT if I did join one it would be, in no order, ASHI or NAHI. These are the only ones that I respect.
So, Realtors and homeowners do your own research before you hire anyone to inspect your most valuable asset.
