Windsor's downtown district is designed to look like a turn of the century city with mixed-use development that reflects Windsor's commitment to a quality life. There are two- and three-story town homes with first-floor commercial space that contains wonderful shops and restaurants. It is home of the annual Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classics, and the Annual Wings over Wine Country Air Show at the Charles Schultz Sonoma County Airport.
