Blind Flyers in our Listings

I was showing properties the other day and as I was leaving I saw one of my clients pick up a flyer that the listing agent had sitting on the counter. I printout a customer copy of the MLS for them, and a full report for myself. As we were walking I noticed it had all of the listing agent's contact information on it. Now my Client has their contact information. I always put blind flyers in the house and full report in the flyer box on the sign. I'd like to believe my clients are loyal to me, but lets face it, there are fewer buyers than when I first came into the business. I'd like to hear how it is elsewhere.

"Wait till after the Holidays"

I keep getting,"We're going to wait till after the Holidays to list the home" I am in FL so snow is not the issue. My thought, the home always looks so nice, smells great, and feels like home. Any other suggestions for educating our clients as to the "Best time to List is NOW!"

Showing Instructions

As a "Full time" Realtor I am frustrated with the lack of showing instructions, and worst of all no call back?? After some digging I find the listing agent is in real estate "Part Time" and punching a clock for a full time job. No problem, what ever it takes to pay the bills.

I have some suggestions to help us all. *Leave full showing instructions in your office or on showing desk, *Enter full showing instructions in listing, include gate codes, lock box codes, and alarm codes. There is a secure showing instructions section. *Co Broke with a full timer. Some of something is better than nothing. *Refer the lead, Let the full timer give the service and you collect a reduced commission.
