If you've been thinking about taking advantage of the $8,000 tax credit that your Uncle Sam and Aunt Samantha are just itching to give you... this is a great home to use it on.
In fact... it just might be interesting enough to get you off the couch and on the road to home ownership.

Four great bedrooms await you... and NONE of them are teeny. Just about everything in this home is over-sized. The master is huge, and with the sizes of bedrooms two, three and four... you won't have to worry about the kids fighting with each other about who gets stuck with the dinky smallest bedrooms.
The country kitchen is over-sized, and opens into both the breakfast/morning room, and the family room. The rear yard is nice and roomy... even larger than the typical two-story rear yards can be.

On the last day of the month, it's time for another Fort Worth Best Buy ! What a pretty home ! The covered front porch makes for such a warm invitation to company as they come up the front walkway.
This great two-story can be built with either three, four or five bedrooms. The three-bedroom version is $153,950. The four-bedroom adds just $450 to the price, and so does the fifth-bedroom. So... for five full bedrooms... the price ends up at $154,850. Incredible !

The family room is huge. So is the kitchen. All open and homey, with a real country-kitchen feel. Sometimes it's the small touches that make a home. On this one... the front porch and the two coach lights on either side of the garage give such an inviting appearance.

As many of you know, my cat, Miss Mollie T, works the night shift. She is my "guard cat." All night long she patrols the perimeter of our home... guarding against intruders.
To date... her efforts have been quite successful. No home invasions, no nasty intrusions, no personal appearances on any of those late-night security alarm commercials.

But... one of the problems with Mollie T making our home safe... is that, with her working the night shift, she cannot and will not get a day job. Harrumph...
Above is a picture of Miss Mollie T sleeping... regaining her strength during the day... preparing for another night of patrolling.

But in the above photo... Miss Mollie T with her eyes open... gives me "the look." She knows... yes, she KNOWS... that I was taking pictures of her for one of my posts. And... in the process... she woke up. Or... as she put it... I woke HER up.
This is also the position Miss Millie T takes when I am sitting on this cushy chair watching TV. She is all curled up behind me... except for the few times when... just to be Mollie T... she reaches out with one of her front paws... and bops me on the head... lovingly, of course... just to let me know she is still there... and that, even more so, that she is still "in charge."
To any and all West Fort Worth apartment renters: When you look out your apartment window after a long, tiring day at work... do you see anything like this ?
If you are paying monthly rent of $900 or more... how would you like to be able to come home from work... climb out of your work clothes, slip into something more comfortable, step out on your rear covered patio of your brand new home... and have a view like this ? Yes... a view like this... and total monthly HOUSE payments of right around the same amount of your apartment rent.

The post you see is the left brick post on the covered rear patio on a really great home that has just "hit the market."
Once again... here is another view from the rear covered patio. Notice... there's nothing out there but trees, trees, lots of greenbelt and grass area... and oh yes... did I mention trees ?

The breakfast/morning room area looks out onto the above rear covered patio.
Three nice-sized bedrooms... the master bedroom is approximately 14 x 13. The master bath has both a garden tub and a stall shower... and a wide and spacious vanity sink area.
The kitchen is open and spacious... with lots of counter space and cupboards... and has a breakfast serving bar that opens up into the family room.
The family room has a vaulted ceiling, a remote-controlled ceiling fan, a wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter, and a raised brick hearth with rounded corners... much better that the squared-off corners that most fireplaces have... that folks hit and scrape their shins on. It's a little thing, but it's a plus, too.
The master is split from the other two bedrooms... one of which looks out onto the nicely-landscaped and treed front yard. What a great room to use as your computer/office/den !
How much ? $111,900. All these goodies, with payments equal to or barely more than many apartments in the area. For your very own personal tour of this great home... call Karen Anne Stone at (817) 929-3400. Call today... and look forward to spending your next holiday weekend... with a great view like this !
First Time Buyers... you are simply not going to believe this. One of Fort Worth's long-time builders has just opened up a brand new section of homesites.
This Four Bedroom Brick and Stone Single Story Home is such an Incredible Home For The Money ! Four Bedrooms, Two Full Baths, Large Family Room, and a Gourmet Kitchen with Cabinets and Counter Tops on ALL FOUR SIDES.
You Will Not Believe This Kitchen ! What a Kitchen ! All Four Walls are lined with both Cabinets and Counter-tops. Can you imagine... moving in to your new home, unpacking and getting all your kitchen stuff pot away, and still having empty cupboards ? There is a Food-Prep Island with Breakfast/Serving Bar, space for Breakfast-Bar "High Chairs" and a Dishwasher, Oven and Range, and a Built-in Microwave.
The Gourmet Kitchen opens into the spacious Family Room by way of a second Serving Bar. The Family Room, combined with the Oversized Dining Room... makes for Lots of Holiday Room for All the Family.
The Formal Dining Room is also Extra-Roomy, and... if the Breakfast Room space next to the Family Room provides enough Room for casual breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and Holiday Dinners, the Formal Dining room can easily be made into a Second Living Area.
And yes... the price quoted above is correct. This 2086 sq ft New Home is priced at $136,990. Now, in some parts of the country, home prices do NOT include the lot... but in Fort Worth, Texas... all new home pricing, including THIS one... includes the building lot.
