This is the third year of the Eugene Marathon and promises to be the best yet. If you are here in town as a runner or fan, be there for all of the excitement beginning with Eugene Health and Fitness Expo at the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center, downtown across from the Hult Center, Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. The Expo includes packet pickup, many outstanding exhibitors, special guest speakers, a pasta dinner, and a massage booth. The races themselves begin Saturday, May 2 with the 5K at 8am and the Kids Marathon at 8:05am. On Sunday morning, May 3, the Marathon and Half Marathon start at 7am. The 5K starts at 4th and High Street in downtown Eugene and finishes at 4th and Mill St. The Kids Marathon starts and finishes at 4th and Mill. Sunday's races begin outside historic Hayward Field at 15th and Agate and finishes at 15th Ave. next to the Bowerman Building. So whether you are here in town, or checking in through the internet, this is a great runner's weekend in the Running Capital of the World, Eugene, Oregon. Good luck everyone, see you at the races!

I moved to Eugene 24 years ago as a freshman at the University of Oregon. I was recruited to Oregon Ducks Women's Track and Field Team and spent four wonderful years competing in middle distance in meets all over the country. When I graduated with my elementary teaching degree, I knew I had found my home, and I've been here ever since. I taught 3rd and 5th grade in Bethel public schools for 17 years, competing in track post-collegiately most of that time, and then I had an exciting opportunity to enter the world of real estate.
While I miss the kids and the joy of helping young minds learn and grow in the classroom, I have found in real estate a very similar joy in helping people purchase their first place, sell as the plans for their lives take new directions, or buy the home of their dreams. I look forward to being that person you can count on to guide you through the process, give you the benefits of my expertise not only in local real estate but in this vibrant, eclectic community as well.
