We mountain peeps have had a super mind winter. Barely winter at all, expect for a couple light snowfalls here and there. In fact, my roses have been confused since December; not knowing if they should wake up and bloom, or keep napping.
...Well, spring IS almost here. This weekend, March 11, 2012, we SPRING FORWARD and set our clocks ahead an hour. And while you're at it, replace the batteries in those smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms.
Though spring really doesn't begin until March 21, I think it's safe to say, here in our local mountains, we can start planting our favorite flowers! Woot!!!!

Long before my family here (in 1991) & well before my real estate career began (1997), I actually had another life. First and foremost, I was a wife and mother (I am still a Mom), but I also worked outside the home as do many women.
During my really "younger" days, I was employed by TRW and NORTHRUP, both in their electronics divisions. But my first job, at Winchell's Donut House in Torrance, CA, was really my all-time favorite job! And I never gained a pound eating those tasty treats ('course I was very young).
My true passion is writing.
