The BROKERS, REALTORS AND STAFF of RE/MAX 1s Olympic in Lynchburg, VA kicked off our Holidays by Ringing THE BELL on Tuesday and Wednesday in front of the BIG LOTS Store on Timberlake Roa, Lynchburg, VA. I will say a fine time was had by all - the BIG LOTS Store Employees were great and fun to talk with and the customers gave cheerfully! WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME - Do yourself a favor in this Holiday Season - Volunteer to RING THE BELL!!!

HOME BUYER GUIDE - STEP 6
STEP 6: THE CLOSING
•· A Closing Date is set - this date is not set in stone. The date can be moved forward for many reasons, do not get upset about this - it is normal.
•· You are given a HUD Statement by either the Closing Agent or by me. This will detail all of the expenditures for the transaction - for the most part this will be very much like the GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE given to you by your MORTGAGE LENDER at the time you made your application for the loan.
•· We conduct a Walk-Through a day or so before the closing. We make sure everything is the same as it was on the day that you made your offer to purchase the house, "no better, no worse."
•· On the DAY OF CLOSING - We meet at the Closing agency or Attorney's Office.
•· You will bring a Certified Check made out to the Closing Co or Attorney for the exact amount of the Closing Costs.
•· You sign a ton of papers.
•· You get the KEYS & YOU ARE A HOMEOWNER!!!!

I have lived in the Brookville/Timberlake Community of Campbell County for most of my life and I graduated from Brookville High School and Central VA Community College. I have been married to Tom Carson for 32 years and we have lived on Timber Lake for over 20 years. My husband and son, Brett own and operate Central VA Office Furniture and Groovy Furniture. Brett is married to Sallie Payne Carson who is a Special Ed Teacher at Heritage High School (Lynchburg City Schools) and they are the parents of my prescious granddaughter, Brantley Ann Carson. My daughter, Beth Anne Carson-Marr works in HR at J Crew and is married to Jon Marr. Jon works at Tri-Tech Labs and they are the proud parents of my adorable grandson, Brylan Ramsey Marr.
I have always been an active community volunteer. In my younger days I served in many capacities of the local clubs of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs, as well as a parent volunteer for the City of Lynchburg (Heritage Elementary) & Campbell County Schools (Tomahawk Elementary, Brookville Middle School & Brookville High School). Currently I am a member of the Rotary Club of Forest and a worker "bee" for such activities as: the Angels Race, Lynchburg Junior Achievement, Amazement Square Children's Museum, etc.
I love introducing new residents to all that our area has to offer, from the great cost of living, health care, educational opportunities to the great weather - We have it all !!!!

This Seller/Buyer is balancing the Sell of their current house with the pressure to Buy a new house and all the time dealing with the crunch of the morgage numbers and the timing for their Sale & Purchase. Throw in 2 work schedules, the kids, the animals, keeping a house clean and you have the makings for a Stress Meltdown!!! That's where a good REALTOR "earns their keep" so to speak - it is my job to play the devil's advocate and to anticipate the issues before they become issues. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!!
