As I watched my daughter graduated with her class Tuesday I sat in all as to how fast the years have flown. i watched as she learned to crawl and walk and ride a new bike. I watch in great pride through all the color guard and flag routines. Now I watch her finish one milestone and head straight into a new world of her own. She graduated with a 3.9 GPA and received 3 scholarships in Criminal Justice Forensic Science. She was told in elementary school she just didn't learn like the rest. They felt she would be better off in a special class so she could learn a career. But she was just a late bloomer, one that struggled to read and understand and was later found to have audio processing problem. Finally a diagnosis, she was given new ways to learn, home school, tutoring, then as she entered high school she wanted to give it her best, and that she did! To all those who have been told your child can't learn , maybe they just need to see how the child learns, and go with it, treat them like they are like the rest but help them learn the way God designed them to be! Turns out Brittany was a visual learner and when given the right tools and taught by how she learned and not how everyone else learns they found a very smart and intelligent child that took flight and jump all the hurdles, and graduates with honor. In the grocery store a retired spacial ed worker that once tested Brittany ask how she was doing I told her about graduation and that Brittany was headed to collage and she was thrilled and so excited for it was her that told me the secret long ago on how to fight the school system and win. She said don't back down, fight for her and never give into the system. We followed her advice and I am so glad I did, because a child with the faith and determination and support will make it and pass the rest on the way to the top! Congratulation Brittany , great job we are so proud of you and I know in my heart you will take collage by storm and once again fight your way to the top!

Spring has finally come and it is time to clean up and get ready for a new season! Spring brings so many opportunities in our lives. It is a time of re-birth or renewal, a time of change. Red Door Real Estate Travelers Rest SC

To grow you must do it correctly the city of Travelers Rest has been hard at work this winter and the changes are awesome. The walking trail is beautiful. They have created with a lot of thought and plans a safe and beautiful place to park and walk and work. Downtown has been revived with a new design. Everyone that reads my blog knows I write about my kids from time to time. Matthew is my oldest and takes life in a fast pace know one can keep up with. He decided to become at Pilot and he has made it, tonight he fly's to Athens Ga on a cross country flight to get his twin engine status, and is headed to commercial jet school this summer plus working. Goals to fly a passenger jet or a cargo jet! Going for Caption as fast as he can go! In the processes of going to school in Aeronautics he announced that we are going to be grandparents in July, wait I am way to young to be a grandmother would you please slow down. Matthew takes life as if he has one day to do it all in , I am sure his guardian angle is working overtime and is out of breath. So could you guys please pray for Matthew as he meets each gold and pray for his safety as he sails through the sky. I knew when he walked at 9 months old he was ahead of himself and he hasn't stopped breaking time records yet!!!!! Please pray that God shows Matthew life as he flys by and that he becomes a great dad, he really has grown up, I sometimes feel like he is leaving us behind!

Wow I finally did it, after months of praying I decided to move my license to a Real Estate office close to home. it was a hard decision, and I will truly miss my friends at Dynamic, but I felt God leading me in a new direction. It makes it hard when you like and respect your broker and team, but God had other ideas for me. So I am with Red Door Realty as of today. i meet the Broker in charge yesterday and felt a peace I have not had in weeks. Please pray for me durning this change and thanks for all your great ideas and concern durning the months of debating. The biggest benefit is the office is 1 mile from home, and I will not have to fight traffic to get to the office. i just got my NC Broker lic and If I choose to list properties I am only 20 minutes away. So it was a great move for me. I wish all my friends at Dynamic well and hope the future brings them lots of great things!. So I am up for your ideas what is the best way to market my move, any ideas I'd love to hear them
