Time is not a enemy but we are always trying to beat it ! We spend hours running from tomorrow when today is still here. I realized during Christmas that we spend a great deal of time planning and running , and by doing so we are missing out on the small things in life. One night after weeks of shopping and running to events with my family we realized we had spent little time enjoy the holidays. So we had a do nothing day. We watch movies and talked and did not email, text or answer a phone. It was nice to have time to talk with the kids and unwind. My kids actually wished we could have more do nothing days. My son is a senior and he is so tired and exhausted he just wanted to sleep. So we took a Saturday and pretended not to be at home, we took a vacation and never left the house. It really was fun and I felt great the next day. So if you get to the point your brain is full and you can't think any more take a do nothing day and enjoy!

This is what you here when you turn on all the TV and news show. Change is coming! Well to change you have to want to, and I am not sure that congress and the good old boy system really wants this. You see that would be the end to big money and spending it like there is no tomorrow. No more special interest. I'm not sure if old school is up to the challenge. They have done what they want for so long it really is going to be hard to teach a old dog new tricks. The love of money and rich has to be remove from there ideas and you have to care about someone besides how much you have in the bank and how much you can retire on. God told the rich man to give up his possessions and follow him, and the man just could not do it. You see God has to be first in your life, not money and status symbol. We do need change in America , but first we must have a change of heart and a change of what is # 1 in there lives. Time will change without us, but the Bible tells us that God will come soon and most of what is said in Revelations is coming true each day. Read Revelations and see for yourself! God is patient , but this country is not doing what we started out when it was written IN GOD WE TRUST! This country is not trusting God and following the money talks attitude, which is now falling hard,for we now see that money is not the answers to happiness or lives problems. People don't have peace and they don't understand , and they cry out for help and justice,however they might want to check and see who they are asking for help, for God is the only one that can change your life for good!

After much prayer and thought my husband and son have dcided to re- open our lawn and landscape business. We have prayed about this and I know the times are crazy, but God has opened all the doors and provided everything we need. My husband found equipment at a really low price and was able to pay cash. So now we are going to advertise and see where it takes us. We really feel God's blessing and request you join us in prayer for the future of the business. We are starting off small, and only using our son part time. He will be in college and needs spending money. So with Gods blessing we take this step. My husband is a landscap designer and has 22 years experience. We are excited and plan to follow Gods directions.

The news could not be worse, and the economy is sinking quick, the only bright side , gas is $1.50 a gallon. Some good news and a praise report is my daughter got a job at the new Arby's over 600 applied, she is really blessed to get a job while in high school she is very excited , she is happy to have extra money for gas and her savings account Sunday the job page in the Greenville News was 1/2 page, it usually is 4 to 5 pages. Real Estate is hanging in there around here , but we have got to make this economy work this year. Please everyone pray for our economy and work hard to support each other! We really must rally behind the new President and give 100% support rather you voted for him or not he is elected and is in power to make changes. Call your congressman and speaker of the house, pressure them to get behind the President. We must all work together for change, I think this has got there attention now and the government might listen a little better since they really don't have much of a choice. Even the rich are worried, so maybe now that the economy is crashing they will wake up and work for a common hope! Like a huge tug a war you have to fight and struggle together to win!

Jimmy Edney of Land of the Sky Realty in Hendersonville NC lost his son Jimmy Jr ( James) to Leukemia on Monday. His son Jimmy was 49 and was a Sheriff Deputy for Henderson County Sheriff Dept., and a Realtor with his dads company for a while. Please keep his family and his parents in your prayers. He was a really great guy and a good friend to all. His funeral is Friday in Hendersonville. I've know Jimmy for a long time he really was a great friend to all.
