MORE INFORMATION OH NO... Wait I think I need this information!
There is so much information out there, sometimes too much info. Lets face facts when a company, bank and or appraiser determines to see what a property is worth they look at specific trends and data. One such component of the data is the Sales Data for that period of time. One can look at the last three months or sometimes depending on available comps one has to go back even further.
I am a true believer that information is power! I would go one step further, information is currency. I am always looking for more information. Above is a service that will do just that and all they ask is for your email.
Now if I can just figure out the Foreclosure trend for this week :)

United States Air Force Auxiliary
I received an email today on this aircraft and was amazed by its ability and versatility. As a long time avid lover of small crafts I have always been interested in single prop planes.
If anyone does not know or have not heard of The Civil Air Patrol - The Official Air Force Auxiliary, this organization has been a long standing not for profit of great success and proud service to the people of the United States and abroad.
If you want more information on Civil Air Patrol go to CAP.GOV or you can email me and I will be more than happy to get you connected to the right commander in charge.

An amazing GA8 an Amazing Plane.
Today I actually received two calls early in the morning to discuss property showings this morning. The interesting thing was neither of the two were past clients nor were they part of my marketing mailing group.
As I proceeded to meet one of them today the sudden fresh April Day hit me! The warm air filled with fragrant buds starting to bloom; spring was finally in Brooklyn.
Both calls and meetings were a success, but what was telling was that these two separate parties had the security of a new beginning. Spring brought with it anew insight that this down turn would not last forever and it was time to make a move.
Let your Spring bring you new adventures and new opportunities.

As a Lawyer and a Realtor I have seen many things but nothing has compared to a home owner returning from a medical emergency only to find the locks on their home have been changed by the mortgage company and a note saying that the property was secured by the Mortgage company for the owners protection.
The method they chose to protect the property was to remove 3 locks and install one cheap used lock to protect the property.
I called the mortgage company in this instance to assist the distressed homeowner and the mortgage company said that their loss mitigation department ordered it since the mortgage was two months late. This was even after the owner called to let them know of their situation.
BANKS should not be allowed to change the locks of HOMES that are already locked. If homes are open and unsecured then perhaps they are servicing the client, however Mortgage companies and their agents should not be allowed to trespass onto private properties before: 1. Granted permission by the Home Owner or 2. Court Order.
The so called clause in most mortgage documentation should be dismissed as an adheasion contract and considered VOID.
We as a society have to stand up and protect our neighbors and those who do not know their rights; And if I am wrong and the bank is in the right to change locks for the SO called protection of the client (homeowner) this should be changed and a law passed that a mortgage company with a collateral interest cannot enter the property without explicit permission and notice.

Also who are these agents of a mortgage company? Who are they accountable too? There are many questions that must be answered by Congress both on a Federal and local level.
We need to help the financial systems in America but we must and cannot trample on the rights of her Citizens. Protect due process!

While checking out open houses today in Brooklyn and Manhattan I came across something unique to me. Directional Open House signs that were not office designated signs. These signs were just generic open house signs. Like the one below.

I like the ones that identify your office like this one:
Do you think the generic signs for open houses work best for you? I have never used them and would like to know the opinion of my Activerain friends. So Generic Home Depot signs or Office Franchise Signs which do you chose, I would like to know?
Also as far as signs being stollen, how has that effected you if at all?
