Hello all, I hope your day is going well. We have sunshine again today in Bonney Lake, WA. I can not wait to get out and take on the day! Some helpful information below for struggling homeowners, this is a very tough time for everyone. I do not know any one person who has not been affected.
On February 18, 2009, President Obama announced his Making Home Affordable Program. The program is designed to help up to 7-9 million families avoid foreclosure by restructuring or refinancing their mortgages. The plan not only helps responsible homeowners behind on their payments or at risk of defaulting, but prevents your neighborhoods and communities from being pulled over the edge too, as defaults and foreclosures contribute to falling home values, failing local businesses, and lost jobs. Be proactive if you are behind, don't wait another minute. There are plenty of options for you.
If you know someone struggling pass this on to them, as we can help each other through this mess with education, compassion and patience.
For more information on the program, MakingHomeAffordable.gov.
Be well...enjoy your days, Namaste!

Hello all, hope your day is going well. Here in Bonney Lake we have sunshine. I feel the need to garden, jog and bar-b-que all at once!
Here are some ideas on how to make a difference on Earth Day and every day...make one change (many changes) and spread the word.
In the Kitchen- Set the temp between 38F-42F. Don't wash dishes with the water running, turn it off...it's ok.
In the dining room- Use dish cloths and washable plates, cups etc.
In the bathroom-Shut off the water while brushing your teeth, low flow shower head and reduce the volume of water in your toilet tank.
In the living room- Turn off unnecessary lights. Dress warm instead of turning up the furnace. Dress cool don't turn on the air conditioner. Raise the blinds in the winter lower them in the summer.
In the yard-Compost leaves and grass clippings. Avoid pesticides look for earth friendly alternatives.
In the garage- Recycle motor oil, antifreeze and car batteries.
In the car-Change air and oil filters, check tire pressure regularly.
At the store-Don't buy over packaged items, choose recycled containers. Buy concentrated cleaners and detergents. USE TOTE BAGS
At work-Send electronic copies instead of print, print, print
At play (most important play often and enjoy life) If you bring it take it back home. Don't disturb wildlife and plant life.
Enjoy life, be well...and RECYCLE!!!
