Eltingville Around town Part III, Transportation

Eltingville, Around town, part III of a series about My Eltingville. This part is the different transportation options available to residents who live here in Eltingville. First, we have a great rail service to and from the Staten Island Ferry. For general information, transfer options, schedule, system maps etc. log on to http://www.mta.info/nyct/sir/sirinfo.htm and for the ferry log on to, http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/siferrysched07.pdf another option is the X-bus with service to Manhattan, again for the schedule and different routes see http://wikitravel.org/en/New_York_City/Staten_Island interesting extra information also.

A good many people take their own cars and during rush hour it can be time consuming. During rush hour, the public transportation option might be your best bet. From the Eltingville train station, you can make it to Wall Street in about one hour, and to Times Square, about 90 minutes. Express buses can take anywhere from 60 minutes to 2 hours to or from Times square. Depending on time of day. If you can't get public transportation to your job and you work off hours, driving your own car might be a good option.

If you're looking for a gem, a clean move in condition, one family detached house, on over sized property, that city planning says can be expanded to over 2300 square feet, look no further. Going into the MLS, Multiple Listing System, on Staten Island today, August 17th. Already getting action, so please if this is what you want, don't blink. It's priced right and will sell quickly. I know "they all say that". In this case that's the truth. Take a look at the Virtual Tour and give me a call, today. see http://www.justsnooping.com/tours/2502530 and BTW, if you have a friend in Brooklyn, tell them about this gem, because as I write this blog, it's the only over sized property one family in this price range. Tell your Manhattan friends also, because it's like living in the country and having great x-bus transportation to the city.

If you live in Annadale, Eltingville, or Great Kills and have a friend that might be interested, please tell them about this one family ranch. If they buy it, I'll buy you dinner for two. Call me for details.
