Short Sales = Great results for the buyer and the seller

After a long process, we closed another escrow last week; the relief from the seller was more gratifying than a commission could ever be. Short Sales are challenging to not only the Real Estate Agent but to the seller and the buyer in the transaction. You really have to be diligent as an agent and know what you're doing when you take on a listing that requires a Short Sale. The lenders are relying on the agent to present a case on why they are going to take less than owed. As the listing agent, you're really responsible for what happens during this process. Be ready to wear many hats.....negotiator, friend, appraiser, and informed real estate agent.
