Hi Dedicated Realtor,
I want to thank you for your time that you spent with us giving us tour around town. Since we had to act fast I asked my brother to submit the offer on the home. I am guessing that due to the high volume of people looking at houses and what not that there was about 40 offers on that home. Now that my cousin is back from vacation, I am thinking that I am going to give him a chance to get us a home. Again, I wanted to thank you for your time and your hospitality that you showed us. If we continue to experience unsatisfactory service from my family I will make sure to give you a call.
Thank you again,
Buyers Using “Unsatisfactory” Family Member Realtor
Dear Buyers Using “Unsatisfactory” Family Member Realtor,
It was my distinct pleasure to have a personal one on one consultation, explain your options to you, explain market conditions to you, drive you all over town, help you find a home that you obviously liked enough to put an offer in on and be sure to provide several follow up calls and emails. It was my absolute pleasure to do this while taking up an appointment slot that could have been utilized by one of my clients who decided to unequivocally commit to me and the real estate help that my team and I provide. It was also my pleasure to spend four hours on a Sunday, which is normally have my day off. Sundays are the day that I usually spend quality time with my own family. You know... the three kids who somewhat look similar to me and the husband who occasionally likes to visit with his wife. But in being accommodating to your needs, I agreed to take you out for homes on Sunday. Every buyer wants a Realtor who will work around their schedule....at least that is what the common complaint seems to be! The most interesting part is the fact that you state that you are experiencing “unsatisfactory” service from your family member(s) who happen to have a real estate license. But you have chosen to continue to work with them. Oh yes, but you promise to give me a call if you "continue to experience unsatisfactory service from your family."
Please believe me when I say, I love my career and my business. I equally love the clients who understand that I do what I do not only because I love it but also remember that I am running a business. It is when incidents like this occur that I begin to re-evaluate why I have certain business practices and why I am constantly evaluating how those practices mesh with my family life.
So the next time I make a business and personal decision to take my day off and spend time with my family versus bending over backwards to accommodate your "needs and schedule", you will know that after enough instances of being burned and mistreated, along with my time and business being valued so little by buyers who have split ties....please be just as understanding as I have been to you in the past.
My practices will not change as far as my loyal, committed clients. They will still be given world class treatment and accomodated in every way. But first you must become a “real client” in a “real relationship” before the favors commence. I will become and remain as loyal to you as you are to me.
Sincerely,
Dedicated Realtor

Realizing that there has been many a book and article written regarding the power of influence, I do not intend to provide a long and lengthy dissertation on the topic. However, as I was reading Developing the Leader Within You by John C. Maxwell this past week, one particular sentence has danced in my head continually. The sentence read, "Sociologists tell us that even the most introverted individual will influence ten thousand other people during his lifetime!"
That absolutely gave reason for pause. How many people are you influencing on a daily basis without even knowing it? How many times a day are your actions those that you would want others to emulate? Just food for thought.

Inland Empire Magazine's January 2009 issue highlighted the "Best of the Inland Empire." Tito's Bakery stood out among those establishments mentioned becasue they won for the best in several categories. Who could help but notice that they were mentioned time and time again? So our team made it our mission to see what this was about. We met Jorge A. Torres and Marisela Torres, owners of Tito's Bakery located at 4137 Riverside Drive, Chino, CA 91710. I had the carrot cake while visiting and it was delicious. Here's how Tito's Bakery stacked up according to Inland Empire Magazine:
Best Spot For A Meal Under $10
Best Sandwiches
Best Bakery
Best Morning Pastry
