As of September 11, 2009 only 28% of available listings in Marvelous Marin County are in escrow.

For the month of August 2009 only 202 homes sold in Marin County, for an average final selling price of $851,396.

The range of final selling prices was from a low of $108,500 for a condo in Novato to a high of $5,100,000 for a stately home in Belvedere.

Of the 202 homes that sold 54 (or 26.7%) were distress sales. So, NO, Marin County is not immune.
