One of the most beautiful parks in the U.S. Have you been yet? Wow, it is breath taking beautiful. The Gulf of Mexico contrasted against the sugary white sand dunes and coastal lakes make it a beautiful place to ride your bike through. Living close enough to the park system is quite a treat. It makes for a wonderful Sunday morning bike ride. It is pristine. It is approximately 3 miles of protected beach. Home to sea turtles, butterflies, and sand mice. You should come for a visit. I did and stayed a lifetime.

With the economy struggling, apparently Home Depot sees room for improvement as they plan to put a new Home Depot over the bridge in the city of Niceville with construction to begin next year. Destin has a Home Depot but it is the only one around for miles unless you want to drive to Panama City. The new Home Depot according to sources say that it will be located in Niceville off of the John Sims Parkway near Rocky Bayou Drive. This is great news for the economy of Niceville and should help to bring some much needed jobs to the area. This should also bring people to the area in need of housing and help our real estate sales in our area.
You may want to check out FIRE restaurant on Halloween. Redd the singing bartender will be behind the bar in costume singing the Monster Mash and there will be prizes for best costume. Redd is a local Hwy. 30A singer who is a lot of fun to hear if you have never heard her before. I have enjoyed Redd on more than one occassion and she has a new CD out now that is terrific. Hope you can come. Of course if you do, I won't recognize you and vice versa, ha.
I paid $2.44 for a gallon of gas today located at the Tom Thumb gas station off of Hwy. 30A in Seagrove, Beach. Let me hear from you. What are you still paying?
Thanks and make it a great day!

It is a great time to buy real estate right now. Home sales are up over last month and slowly the inventory levels are coming down a bit. The prices are equal to those of 2004. Economists continue to predict that the inventory levels of about 10.4 months will continue to put pressure on prices. Consumer confidence still remains uncertain at this time and many buyers are waiting for the election process to be over and keeping a sharp eye on the stock markets. Gas today was just $2.48 per gallon here locally. That is good news. Occupancy levels are low right now around Destin and if you want to just drive in for the weekend, your chances of finding a room are great.
You will want to use a reputable buyer's representative when you come in town. One like myself who will help you with your purchase and dig up all of the facts of a home, a subdivision, or condo. Especially the condos. Many condo developments are in trouble right now and are carrying a lot of bad debt on their books. Make sure you call me before jumping into what seems like a great deal. You will need a local expert to help you out.
The cooler temperatures, blue skies, emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and butterlies migrating to Mexico, makes this stop on anyone's fall tour of the U. S. a must see.
