Two Destin Plastic Surgeons were recently selected for a new breast implant study. Dr. Ennis and Dr. Burden from the Destin Plastic Surgery Center located off of Hwy. 98 in Destin were selected for the study. They will be along side Dr. 90120.
Mentor Corporation has created a new silicone breast implant which has an adjustable silcone gel. The doctors were selected based on experience. The implant is already being used in Europe and is undergoing FDA approval for the United States.
This should bring visitors to the local market area who are looking to enhance their looks. Destin is a resort destination with beautiful white sandy beaches that squeak undernearth your toes when you walk out to the Gulf of Mexico's shoreline.
Destin's luckiest fishing village may have just gotten a little luckier.

Can you believe it? I feel it. I am in Orlando attending the Florida Association of Realtors convention. If you ever want more business just leave town. It works every time. More emails, more buyers, more sellers, contracts flying. All of us in attendance are beginning to feel the wave again and it feels so incredible.
Here I learn the tools of my business and remain on the cutting edge of what is happening in real estate in my state. I am soon going to be an Avatar on SecondLife on FAR Island. How cool is that? FAR Island is a place for the Florida Association of Realtors to learn and exchange ideas and attend important virtual meetings.
I learned a lot this week too about International Real Estate and as always pick up new ideas, FREE cool websites to use to enhance my business and exposure. I don't understand why more Realtors do not come to these conventions. They are full of great information for running your business.
Anyway, enjoy some of my photos from this week. Conventions are also a great source for networking with other Realtors for referral business.
Okay, today while viewing a condo at a very nice complex, there in the Master Bedroom on the dresser was this most beautiful shell. It makes a perfect shell phone and such an upgrade from my earlier model. I hope you like it as much as I did.
I am sitting at our local Keller Williams office today in Destin. Jean Floyd is our local chapter District Vice President for the Women's Council of Realtors and she gathered about 25 women together today to go over our goals for 2009. In attendance is our State V.P. for the Women's Council of Realtors Nan Harper. This is such an enthusiastic group and so much fun. We just broke for lunch provided by our local Wells Fargo Affliate, Ann Buroker and Lorena Spillar. If you are a woman and have not yet joined the Women's Council of Realtors in your area, please do so today. You will be glad that you did. There is a lot of love being shared today and the bonding is wonderful. These are the future movers and shakers in our community.
I served as the local Chapter President last year and was demoted this year to a PP. That stands for Past President.

Last October my wife spent a weekend visiting a friend of hers who lives in the Riviera Beach area of Panama City Beach. When she got back home she felt like it was the sort of a spot that I would like and that there might be several good deals available in that areas' housing market. So, after a visit the following weekend and a lot of internet research, we randomly selected Kelly to help us on our quest for the best vacation home that our budget could handle. She could not have been any more accommodating. Her energetic, kind and pleasant, but professional manner turned what could have been a frustrating search into a fun adventure. As we hunted for our dream vacation home, she had all sorts of interesting lowdown on the area. She knows her stuff. The first weekend we had a few possibilities in sight. We made a couple of offers but they didn't pan out. Each day Kelly would E-mail us at our home near Atlanta any other possibilities as they came on the market. When we had a free weekend to search some more, Kelly was unable to be available. In spite of this she managed to have an associate of hers meet us anyway. She too was equally as accommodating. During the negotiation and closing phases of our purchase she was very helpful. Throughout the entire process, we really got the impression that she would do anything we requested. Can't say enough about her. We are very pleased. She even congratulated us with a smile and a bottle of wine the day we moved in!
