I just loved Jim Marks, Realtor in Laguna Beach CA, suggestions on blogging. He said that we already had great content for blogging if we just looked through our sent email files. He added that many agents respond to various clients daily and already have substantial content created there. So I did look through my sent files and found loads of very good stuff to get started. My personal clients have lots of questions and concerns about:

• Homeowner Associations
• Residential Closings
• Appraisals
• Mortgage Insurance Premiums
• FHA Loans
• Lease Purchase, if my property doesn't sell
• HUD Foreclosures

And this was just the beginning. So I guess I've listed these few here to say that reading a fellow AR members blog has helped me overcome a big hurdle. And using my own email has indentified my areas of specialty. Up until know, finding good blogging content has been difficult for me. Little did I know, I had good content all along in my sent file.

I find that so often there are people who want to buy a home but have in past years been either turned down for a loan or had some terrible experience with buying that they refuse to try again. However, often after speaking with them and giving them some useful facts their outlook on buying has changed.

This is why I feel that its necessary to educate and inform buyers of the current standards in the mortgage industry. Even if you are not in the market, get the information so that you are better prepared when that time comes.
