Growing up in Stafford County is a history buff's dream. We are so rich in history.
- We were founded in 1664
- George Washington's boyhood home was in Ferry Farm (this is where I live)
- Pocahontas was kidnapped at Marlborough Point (my father & I have built houses there)
- Civil War sites are everywhere & Clara Barton was here during the war
- 18th century home of American artist Gari Melcher is in Falmouth
