Tickets are now on sale for The Last Magician, written by T.M.Sell with music written by Nancy Warren. This play will be performed at the E.B. Foote Winery, 127-B SW 153rd St in Burien on the following dates: July 10-11, 15, 17-19, 22-26. Doors open at 6:30, 1:30 on Sundays. The past plays have been lots of fun to see, and the $20 price for admission includes wine tasting and hors d'oevres. Tickets are on sale at the winery or at Corky Cellars in Des Moines. May 16th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center (19010 1st Ave S), there will be a huge recycling event. You can bring such items as tires, motor oil, antifreeze, lead acid batteries, cardboard, household goods, clothing, toilets and sinks, propane tanks, clean scrap wood, bulky wood, and electronic equipment. We are getting geared up for our booth at the Burien Farmers Market. It is a terrific time of the year to be outside, to breath in the fresh air, to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, to purchase all kinds of handcrafted items, and to meet and greet friends, neighbors and fellow town members.
