Communication is an Art Form

Cooler Image Well, I'm not going as far as changing my hair like this, but I am changing the way I'm communicating with my younger clients. I have found that people like to be communicated with in the form they are most comfortable with. Older Realtors need to realize that technology has changed and so should their business practices. I remember when I first got into the business, I had a big bag cell phone that stayed turned off unless I wanted to use it and I had a "state of the art" text pager. My clients were very impressed with how easily they could reach me! Now, it's harder to impress your clients, unless you can respond to every call or text within, literally, seconds. That isn't always possible, but usually within the half to one hour is. My rule is always to communicate in the same form as first communicated to me, until I can get the permissions for other types of communication.

Ours is a talking business, so we must perfect the art form. Never before has there been so many ways!

Super Hero Realtors

Realty Man I don't dress up in tights or a cape, but my clients think I'm a Real Estate Super Hero! Being a Savannah native gives me the advantage of knowing all areas of my city and the outlying counties, as well. I grew up here and I have watched Savannah grow. My 13 years of experience in the Real Estate industry has given me the privilege of working with lots of Buyers and Sellers and deal with all types of circumstances.

I work with my clients personally, not hand them off to assistants. I'm real particular and I feel like my clients value my expertise and experience that an assistant doesn't have (if they did, they wouldn't be assistants :-) I am constantly learning new information that benefits those I work with, whether it be new financing options, new incentive programs, new construction methods or hazards. Knowledge is Power and that's what makes a professional, Professional!

Home Inspections and Commercial Due Diligence are crucial! Sometimes, it's better to walk away from a transaction than to make the mistake of a lifetime! It's always wise to work with someone that knows a team of para-professionals that can get the necessary testing, appraisals, etc. done in an efficient and timely manner to stay within the contract guidelines. Being late just one day can cost you thousands!

Whether you work with me or another "professional" Realtor, be sure to find out their experience level, years in the industry and ask them for written testimonials from satisfied past clients. For a true professional Realtor, this should routinely be a part of their Seller or Buyer presentation. All Realtors are not created equal, so make sure you only work with the Super Hero variety. If you are moving in or around the Savannah, GA area, please allow me to demonstrate my skills. I can be reached on my cell at 912-663-2417 or at my office at 912-351-9737.
