About Kevin Hottmann:

I have three passions in life....my family, my business, and living life to its fullest. I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and Orange County calling me home as a young adult. I have lived in California for 31 years, the last 12 I spent raising my family and growing my real estate business throughout Southern California.

I attended Citrus College and later California State Fullerton, majoring in Business Administration.

Real Estate became one of my biggest passions in life 12 years ago. My focus is a positive experience for all of my clients, getting the best price possible, while being there through the entire transaction to ensure all goes smoothly. I understand the importance of goals and dreams....and work real hard to be a part of that success for my clients.

I had envisioned real estate agents as a cross between used car salesman and a slime ball attorney. In the past, agents always seemed to just want to close you and collect their money and that would be the end of working with them. So, when I came across Kevin, he was a fresh change of pace. In his words, he treats all his clients like a doctor would to his patients. I remember the first time I met with him at his office. Now that I am settled into my new home, I send this letter on behalf of my fiancé and I, to share with you the exceptional service and care we received from your agent, Kevin Hottmann. Having gone through a grueling five month "short sale", it is hard to list all of the things Kevin did to go out of his way for our family. From the start, it was apparent Kevin was looking out for our best interest, not his own. Throughout the process we were always kept informed and educated as he pushed forward, much of the time behind the scenes, with the sellers, loan agents, escrow companies, inspectors, etc., etc. Kevin would volunteer to be at the home if we couldn't make an inspection or appointment, even if it seemingly meant less time with his own family. Weekday nights, weekend mornings, Kevin was always there for us as the process dragged on.

As our move approached, Kevin would be at the home to let plumbers, electricians, painters, etc. in so the house would be ready for our move in. And now that we are in, Kevin continues to be there and volunteer to help with DirecTv, EuroCare (home appliance warranty co.), and even made a round trip drive to get us a set of "rabbit ears" from his house for our newly installed T.V.

I have already communicated to Kevin that he will be my agent for future moves and I have already referred him to two of my friends, while my parents have referred him to one of their colleagues.

I know I'm forgetting numerous instances when Kevin went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get our home. Just know that it was a pleasure working with Kevin. Not only did my fiancé and I gain a future real estate agent, we also gained a trusted friend.

I listed my home with Kevin for one reason, he was consistent!!! Kevin made sure that I was informed with the real estate market in my area. I would get on a weekly basis, a list of homes that were new on the market, what homes went into escrow, and which homes sold. So, when it came time to sell my home, I was educated enough to make the right decision about the commission and price. Kevin prepared his marketing and advertising plan which was garanteed to run for my home to attract the most amount of buyers.

In short, Kevin got my home sold in December 2006 for over asking price. I was very happy to choose him and I would use him again in the future.
