On Saturday, February 25, 2012, the Ventura Police Officers' Association presents their first annual VPOA Bunko Tournament. Proceeds will help fund the Dee Dowell Memorial Scholarship Fund, a scholarship started to honor fallen officer Dee Dowell and to support students in pursuit of service oriented careers. To help the VPOA they brought in their friends from Rolling for Pink - A local non-profit organization that has held a Bunko tournament in Camarillo to benefit breast cancer research for the last 3 years. This year, they will hit $100,000 donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the VPOA Bunko Tournament will be donated to Rolling for Pink to support breast cancer research.
Enjoy a host bar of margaritas, beer, wine, water and soda. Appetizers and dessert will be provided. Silent Auction and Raffle. Registration Cost: Single - $75. Register with more than one- $65/person.
THREE rounds of Bunko total. Each round will include SIX games. Winners will be narrowed down to a SEMI-FINAL and then down to a FINAL. ONE FINALIST will be chosen from ALL participants. The winner will be the Champion and recipient of $2500 Visa Gift Card! For more details please refer to the rules of this tournament.
