The other day, I finally made it over to the new Costco to get my membership card. It took 30 minutes of standing in line, but was worth the wait. I have never been to a Costco before because the location wasn't convenient. I found out that you can get your card online-which is what I would recommend. You can also shop online at http://www.costco.com/ .
The opening of this store was highly anticipated. They have everything that you can imagine and the food samples were amazing! The prices seemed to be pretty good on most items. I was in and out within an hour with a lot of great bargains.
The store is part of the Huge new University Village Colorado Shopping Center. I can't wait to see what stores are all coming to this location.
Those of you that live in other places- Do you have a Costco with this kind of view???

This is the time of year when the market tends to slow down a bit before the holidays. However, HOMES ARE STILL SELLING in Colorado Springs.
With the probable extension of the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit lasting until April (purchases must be final by June), we will probably have a strong market through the end of the year and the beginning of next year as well.
