My husband owns & runs Buck N Bull Taxidermy in San Antonio, TX & sometimes, it just comes with the territory.

Today I found an alligator on my dining room table, about 14 feet tall.

Apparently this guy needs a place to "dry out" & didn't fit at the shop anymore. His new temporary residence is on my dining room table.

    These are the words I heard from my buyer today. Not about me, about him....the lender of "her choice" (not mine or I would even venture to say, anyone's). These are the words I dread.

    All I can do is educate & hope folks listen to me. All I can do is speak of experiences with other lenders, title companies, contractors, etc. If you still choose to choose your own, all I can do is listen to you & be baffled.

    Yes, I will try to contact the lender when they won't return your call, yes, I will re-schedule the closing when we can't close on time & yes, I will help you re-arrange your schedule with the movers, babysitters, employer & school so you can still move in before the weekend. I will.

    But I will also ask you again............

    Why wouldn't you want to go with someone who is tried & true? Why wouldn't you want to go with someone I can give you references for? Who will call you back, do whatever is possible to close on time & truly EARN your business so you will call them, 4,6,9,22 years from now when you buy again or refinance? Why wouldn't you want to go with someone who works on commission? Wha-wha-wha-wha-WHY?
